Every commodity has its own temperature
Berries, leafy greens and asparagus usually ride at 32°F to 36°F. Avocados, tomatoes, peppers and citrus usually ride warmer, from about 40°F to 55°F. The setpoint on your bill of lading decides, and we run exactly that.
How we protect produce
- Trailers are pre-cooled to your setpoint before loading.
- We run continuous or start-stop mode as you order. Most produce ships in continuous mode so air keeps moving through the load.
- You see the box temperature live on your tracking link, with the last 12 hours of readings.
- You get the signed BOL at pickup and the POD at delivery by email.
Both sides of the border
We pick up Mexican produce at Laredo, Pharr / McAllen, El Paso, Eagle Pass and Del Rio and deliver it across the United States. Going the other way, we haul U.S. produce from farms and packing sheds down to the border for export.
